This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine, +2 more states.
• Drive capital sales revenue for Valence Navigation & Robotics products across the Northeast territory.
• Develop and implement strategic territory plans to meet and exceed annual sales targets.
• Build, manage, and sustain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Identify new business prospects within hospitals, health systems, ambulatory surgery centers, and surgical practices.
• Create and present value-driven proposals and presentations to key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Negotiate and finalize capital sales opportunities while ensuring profitability goals are met.
• Establish and nurture trusted relationships with surgeons, administrators, operating room leaders, supply chain personnel, and executive stakeholders.
• Act as the primary point of contact for prospective and existing Navigation customers.
• Guide customers through the evaluation, purchasing, implementation, and adoption processes.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and responsiveness throughout the entire sales cycle.
• Coordinate and facilitate field demonstrations, product evaluations, and customer visits.
• Collaborate with sales, clinical, and marketing teams to highlight the robotics platform.
• Support surgeon education initiatives, cadaver labs, workshops, and industry meetings.
• Deliver product presentations tailored to the specific needs and clinical objectives of customers.
• Partner with Northeast distribution channels to identify, cultivate, and advance sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with regional sales leadership, clinical specialists, marketing, operations, and training teams.
• Provide sales forecasting, pipeline updates, and market insights.
• Assist distributors and field teams with capital sales strategies, customer engagement plans, and competitive positioning.
• Organize internal and customer-facing activities for successful program launches.
• Manage handoffs from sales to implementation, training, and ongoing customer support teams.
• Monitor customer adoption and utilization to promote account success and expansion opportunities.
• Proven track record of managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and close surgeon interest in innovative spine technologies.
• Strong skills in presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Northeast territory.
• Experience in selling surgical robotics, navigation systems, orthopedic technologies, spine technologies, or other advanced surgical capital equipment. (Preferred)
• Experience working with distributor sales networks. (Preferred)
• Existing relationships within the orthopedic, spine, or hospital sectors. (Preferred)
• Background in supporting product launches and market development initiatives. (Preferred)
• Strong business acumen and strategic selling capabilities.
• Ability to influence executive-level decision-makers.
• Proficiency in pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM systems.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Collaborative team player with a customer-first approach.
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of successful medical device sales experience in spine.
• Approximately 50-75% travel required for customer visits, field demonstrations, training events, and industry meetings.
• Must be eligible for and maintain credentials at all required hospitals, including meeting applicable physical or vaccination requirements, where necessary.
