This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon, +1 more state.
• Cultivate and maintain customer relationships with fabricators, managers at Big Box Channel stores, and designers.
• Create and implement detailed customer and sales strategies to drive business expansion.
• Collaborate with peers and management to formulate market strategies that enhance sales methods and boost market share.
• Sustain existing relationships, forge new ones, and network through customer visits and product knowledge presentations.
• Follow up on leads and referrals generated from field activities.
• Oversee pipeline projects with quality checks and ongoing follow-up.
• Supervise and manage merchandising materials and product samples for designated customers.
• Address customer concerns proactively and keep management updated on escalating issues.
• Relay new product and service opportunities, special developments, and field feedback to the manager.
• Collaborate with internal team members, sales operations, and logistics to finalize sales and coordinate shipping and deliveries.
• Provide weekly updates on account activity and call reports in Salesforce.
• Utilize CRM to track, maintain, analyze, and manage customer requirements.
• Participate in product knowledge sessions, conventions, tradeshows, seminars, and other marketing events.
• Develop and enhance product and industry knowledge through events, trade shows, and membership associations.
• Operate in the Pacific Northwest territory as a road warrior, spending five days a week in the field.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A minimum of 1-3 years of successful experience in sales, business development, or account management in a similar position.
• Background in the building materials, interior design, or construction industry can provide valuable perspectives on the unique challenges and dynamics of your target market.
• Prior experience with premium brands or high-end products is a plus.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers and internal teams.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
• Capability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop effective sales strategies.
• Skilled in negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms.
• Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational abilities.
• Responsive to both internal and external customer needs and able to fulfill commitments promptly.
• Capacity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Proficient in technology applications, particularly MS Excel and Salesforce CRM.
• Must hold a valid current state driver's license.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Professional appearance and a positive representation of the company.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.
• Ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs.
