This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Uphold Winpak’s brand with professionalism and integrity in the marketplace.
• Develop robust relationships with current clients while seeking new business prospects within designated markets and product lines.
• Provide outstanding customer service to ensure engagement and satisfaction for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee changes in order specifications, timelines, and requirements.
• Prepare and process customer orders to guarantee production and shipment align with customer expectations.
• Maintain consistent pricing in accordance with published guidelines or customer quotes.
• Collaborate with the Winpak Graphics Department on customer graphic requests.
• Secure approval for deviations from standard terms before accepting customer orders.
• Manage territory inventory following company policies and special agreements.
• Assist with the collection of receivables and ensure accuracy and timeliness in expense report submissions.
• Communicate changes in orders and requirements to customers and the head office.
• Respond to customer complaints and coordinate corrective measures.
• Travel within the assigned territory to optimize sales opportunities, provide sales forecasts, and participate in trade shows and seminars, adhering to budget and company policies.
• Report directly to the National Sales Manager.
• Post-secondary education related to Business, Science, Marketing, Packaging Engineering, or a similar field.
• Over 5 years of experience managing a territory while identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, closing deals, and achieving or surpassing sales targets.
• More than 5 years of experience establishing long-term client relationships in a B2B setting.
• Over 5 years of experience in cultivating and nurturing client relationships, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions.
• At least 3 years of experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
• Proven knowledge of technical requirements for flexible and rigid packaging, primarily within the Food Processing sector.
• Preferred: 5+ years of experience in the packaging industry.
• Preferred: 3+ years of experience working collaboratively with internal teams.
• Experience in graphics development and technical service/support would be advantageous.
• Fluency in English and French would be an asset.
• Must be willing to travel as needed within the assigned territory.
• A valid driver's license is required for travel purposes.
