This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Create and implement a business plan for the territory aimed at achieving and surpassing sales targets.
• Identify, qualify, and progress opportunities within Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs), hospitals, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), academic medical institutions, and Veterans Affairs (VA) facilities.
• Establish and nurture relationships with surgeons, administrators, supply chain leaders, and executive stakeholders.
• Oversee the complete sales process, which includes prospecting, product demonstrations, clinical evaluations, proposal creation, contract negotiations, and closing sales.
• Present and demonstrate the DEXTER robotic surgical system, highlighting its clinical and economic advantages.
• Build and sustain a strong pipeline of opportunities while managing activities within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
• Collaborate with Clinical, Marketing, Training, and Customer Success teams to enhance customer experiences and facilitate account launches.
• Identify and nurture key opinion leaders to promote wider market acceptance.
• Participate in conferences, industry gatherings, and customer events to boost market visibility and stimulate demand.
• Promote utilization growth and enhance customer satisfaction within the established customer base.
• Provide market intelligence, competitive analysis, and customer insights to support commercial strategies.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• Preference for degrees in Business, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare Administration, or related fields.
• An MBA or advanced degree is advantageous.
• A minimum of 7 years of successful experience in medical device sales with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
• Strong preference for experience in selling capital equipment, surgical robotics, operating room technologies, or other complex healthcare solutions.
• Proven success in navigating intricate healthcare sales environments with multiple stakeholders and extended sales cycles.
• Experience working with ASCs, hospital systems, IDNs, academic medical centers, and physician leadership.
• Demonstrated capability to develop new markets and facilitate the adoption of innovative technologies.
• Experience in startups, product launches, or high-growth commercial environments is preferred.
• Strong business acumen and skills in financial selling.
• Ability to effectively communicate compelling clinical and economic value propositions.
• Excellent executive presence, along with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Highly self-motivated with an entrepreneurial approach.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
• Data-driven mindset for territory planning, pipeline management, and forecasting.
