This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +1 more state.
• Guide teams and collaborate with surgeons and operating room stakeholders to facilitate the adoption of Restrata® and related products.
• Formulate and implement regional business strategies to meet revenue goals while overseeing expenses and sales-to-expense ratios.
• Inspire, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing sales team through effective communication, field engagement, performance assessments, and professional growth.
• Recruit, select, and establish a sales organization, including distributor networks where applicable.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulations governing interactions with healthcare professionals.
• Provide senior leadership with valuable insights regarding sales performance, market dynamics, competitive activities, and opportunities for field-driven improvements.
• Travel up to 80% in the field with representatives, customers, and sales professionals, including some weekends and overnight trips.
• Support Acera and Restrata wound care technologies aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and surgical efficacy.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution and 5+ years of sales experience in medical device, pharmaceutical sales, or medical field sales.
• OR High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution with a minimum of 9+ years of experience in medical device, pharmaceutical sales, or medical field sales as a substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Prior experience with Value Analysis Committees and/or trial approvals in both commercial and federal facilities is required.
• Current, valid Driver’s License.
• Must successfully pass a pre-hire motor vehicle record (MVR) review and maintain ongoing eligibility under Solventum’s driver policy and insurance requirements.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.
• May be required to hold licenses, vaccinations, and/or other credentials necessary for facility access.
• Preferred: previous medical device sales experience with surgeons and support for surgical cases in operating rooms.
• Preferred: at least 1 year of formal leadership experience.
• Preferred: capability to manage time and priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred: strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with proficiency in people management, conflict resolution, and project coordination.
• Preferred: analytical and organizational skills.
• Preferred: established relationships with physicians and surgical staff.
• Preferred: skills in negotiation, selling, presenting, proficiency in Microsoft 365, and Concur.
