This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Drive teams and foster cross-functional collaborations with surgeons and operating room stakeholders to enhance the adoption of Restrata® and associated products.
• Formulate and implement regional business plans to meet revenue objectives while overseeing expenses and sales-to-expense ratios.
• Inspire, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing sales team through effective communication, field engagement, performance evaluations, and professional growth initiatives.
• Recruit, hire, and develop a sales organization, including distributor networks where applicable.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulations governing interactions with healthcare professionals.
• Provide senior management with insights regarding sales performance, market dynamics, competitive landscape, and field-driven opportunities.
• Utilize a personal vehicle for business purposes and engage in the FAVR program.
• Travel up to 80% of the time in the field with representatives, customers, and other sales professionals, including occasional weekends and overnight travel.
• Support Solventum’s Acera product line and Restrata wound care technologies within the Medical Surgical Division.
• A Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution and over 5 years of sales experience in medical devices, pharmaceutical sales, or sales in the medical sector.
• OR a High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution coupled with a minimum of 9 years of experience in medical device, pharmaceutical sales, or medical field sales as a substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Prior experience with Value Analysis Committees and/or trial approvals in commercial and federal facilities is mandatory.
• A current, valid Driver’s License is required.
• Must successfully complete a pre-hire motor vehicle record (MVR) check and maintain ongoing eligibility.
• Compliance with Solventum’s driver policy, insurance requirements, and annual policy acknowledgment is necessary.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the employment country without sponsorship for employment visa status.
• Certain licenses, vaccinations, and/or other credentials or qualifications for facility access may be required.
• Preferred: Previous medical device sales experience engaging with surgeons in hospital systems, with direct involvement in supporting surgical procedures in the operating room.
• Preferred: At least 1 year of formal leadership experience.
• Preferred: Ability to independently manage time and priorities while adapting swiftly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Preferred: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including people management, conflict resolution, and project coordination abilities.
• Preferred: Analytical and organizational skills.
• Preferred: Proven ability to build relationships with physicians and surgical staff.
• Preferred: Proficient in negotiation, sales, and presentation skills, with working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Concur.
