This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Enhance customer engagement and sales outcomes through effective in-person interactions within specialized cardiac accounts.
• Establish compliant relationships with healthcare professionals in cardiology, multidisciplinary care teams, and office personnel across designated accounts.
• Communicate approved promotional and disease-state information to promote appropriate usage of Rare Cardiac products.
• Utilize knowledge of products, diseases, and market dynamics to identify opportunities, prioritize accounts, and facilitate patient finding and referral pathways.
• Assist with patient access by offering information regarding prior authorization processes, reimbursement assistance, hubs, and co-pay resources.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to address customer requirements, eliminate access obstacles, and further Rare Cardiac business goals.
• Employ digital tools and insights to strategize, execute, and enhance activities within the Rare Cardiac territory.
• Travel to accounts and office locations within the assigned territory, including overnight stays when necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree OR an associate’s degree with 8+ years of relevant work experience OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of applicable work experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales; marketing in those fields; or related healthcare provider experience in a specific therapeutic area.
• A valid U.S. driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the last 7 years will result in disqualification from employment.
• Must be able to reside within a reasonable distance of all business points in the assigned territory.
• Capability to travel to all accounts and office locations within the designated territory.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.
• U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
• Preferred: 3–5 years of experience in specialty sales, particularly in Cardiology or Hospital settings.
• Preferred: Strong understanding of complex disease states, biologics, and specialty reimbursement processes.
• Preferred: Experience in engaging key opinion leaders and influential accounts.
• Preferred: Proven business acumen, data-driven decision-making skills, and strategic thinking abilities.
• Preferred: Strong digital engagement capabilities, such as proficiency in Veeva Engage and Zoom.
