Area Manager, Light Water Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Lead the commercial sales operations for the German market.

• Provide support, mentorship, and development for account managers and field service engineers.

• Promote inclusion, learning, safety, and continuous improvement within the team.

• Offer feedback, coaching, and planning for professional development.

• Meet regional growth and performance objectives.

• Create and implement strategic plans for key accounts and new business opportunities.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address customer requirements.

• Establish and nurture relationships with industrial clients.

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

• Serve as a technical and commercial expert for complex challenges.

• Supervise adherence to safety, environmental, and corporate policies.

• Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource distribution.

• Promote efficiency and initiatives for cost control.

• Identify market trends and opportunities in the Light Industry sector.

• Lead regional initiatives to enhance Solenis' presence.

• Support the launch of new products and the adoption of innovations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.

• 3–5 years of experience in chemical sales.

• Demonstrated success in securing large, complex deals.

• Proficient in both German and English.

• Proven leadership experience managing regional teams.

• Strong skills in communication, negotiation, and analysis.

• Willingness to travel throughout Germany.

• Valid driver's license.

• Ability to work independently.
