This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Propel the sales growth of Össur bracing and support products within the designated territory.
• Deliver tailored sales presentations to medical professionals and designated clients.
• Cultivate relationships with clinical decision-makers to broaden the customer base and increase product market share.
• Formulate and implement sales strategies aimed at achieving territorial goals and objectives.
• Achieve or surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the territory.
• Utilize sales resources, literature, and promotional materials to execute the sales strategy effectively.
• Create strategic solutions to enhance profitability within the territory.
• Sustain industry, technical, and competitive knowledge to address objections and apply sales strategies successfully.
• Collaborate with Independent Representatives and partner distribution organizations.
• Maintain, analyze, and utilize territory/customer reports and databases to prioritize and plan activities.
• Keep management updated on customer and competitive developments.
• Submit accurate and timely reports on territory and expenses.
• Manage company funds judiciously and foster territory profitability.
• Adhere to relevant laws and regulations.
• Uphold a professional image and represent Össur with integrity.
• Complete mandatory quality-management training and contribute to a safe work environment.
• Travel frequently to client locations within the territory, including overnight trips as required.
• A Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in a life science or business field.
• At least three years of direct field sales experience, ideally in the medical products sector.
• Previous experience in selling O&P, Physical Therapy, or Orthopedic products is highly advantageous.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Strong organizational, analytical, task, and time management capabilities.
• Must be able to adhere to a demanding travel schedule.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Maintain a satisfactory level of technical competency, achieving 90% or above on all assessments.
• Compliance with applicable laws and regulations is essential.
• Ability to keep company proprietary information confidential.
• Capability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
