Area Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Provide temporary coverage as a Sales Representative during a 12-month parental leave period.

• Act as a reliable source of information and the primary contact for veterinary clinics, livestock producers, and resellers.

• Conduct technical training and promote genomic, animal health, and veterinary products with assistance from technical veterinarians.

• Enhance sales of key brands in alignment with the commercial strategy.

• Engage in producer-facing workshops and field days to educate industry stakeholders on animal health and production.

• Travel throughout the designated NSW Riverina territory to execute essential marketing initiatives.

• Leverage available resources to foster relationships and drive account sales growth.

• Generate new business opportunities while sustaining the existing client base.

• Foster customer relationships and provide value through exceptional customer service.

• Strong enthusiasm for the livestock sector.

• Ability to establish enduring relationships with veterinary clinics, livestock producers, and resellers.

• Capacity to utilize business insights effectively.

• Customer-centric mindset.

• Competence to deliver technical training after receiving the necessary instruction.

• Excellent communication abilities.

• Proficiency in public speaking.

• Extensive experience in animal health or veterinary sales is highly desirable.

• Tertiary qualifications in rural science, agribusiness, or a related discipline are preferred.

• Must possess the legal right to work in Australia.

• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory in person.

• Strong task orientation, proactive mindset, and well-honed organizational skills.
