This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Lead the commercial success of a portfolio comprising midscale and upper midscale franchised hotels.
• Act as a reliable commercial consultant to hotel owners, operators, and management firms.
• Leverage hotel, portfolio, and market data to pinpoint revenue opportunities and initiatives for performance enhancement.
• Conduct property site visits, performance assessments, and business consultations.
• Formulate and influence the execution of strategic commercial action plans.
• Enhance RevPAR, market share, ADR, occupancy rates, revenue growth, and profitability for owners.
• Assess market demand, competitive positioning, business mix, pricing strategies, distribution efficiency, and sales performance.
• Examine performance trends, pace reports, demand drivers, channel contributions, competitive intelligence, and market dynamics.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management and hotel leadership on pricing, inventory management, forecasting, and segment strategies.
• Monitor commercial dashboards and performance metrics, escalating issues and suggesting corrective measures.
• Coordinate support from Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, Loyalty, Distribution, Brand, and Operations teams.
• Boost engagement and participation in proprietary revenue-generating programs and initiatives.
• Convert complex operational and financial data into actionable recommendations.
• Facilitate regular performance discussions with hotel owners, management companies, and property leadership teams.
• Document commitments, action points, and strategic decisions, ensuring accountability and follow-through.
• Maintain accurate documentation in company systems and submit timely expense reports.
• Support franchise growth, retention initiatives, franchise associations, and industry engagements.
• Share market intelligence and best practices with franchisees, peers, and corporate stakeholders.
• Engage in special projects and organizational initiatives as assigned.
• Candidates must currently reside in Memphis, Tennessee, or within a 100-mile radius of the Memphis metropolitan area.
• A minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive experience in the hotel industry, with substantial responsibility for commercial strategy, revenue performance, sales, marketing, revenue management, or multi-property performance enhancement.
• At least ten (10) years of hotel leadership experience, ideally encompassing franchise performance, revenue management, commercial leadership, or multi-unit operational oversight.
• Proven success in enhancing hotel commercial performance, including revenue growth, RevPAR, market share, and owner profitability.
• Ability to influence business decisions through analytical insights and strategic consultation.
• Experience working effectively within a matrix organization and driving outcomes without direct authority.
• Strong analytical, forecasting, and financial skills.
• Familiarity with hotel performance and business intelligence tools, including revenue, financial, market share, and benchmarking platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Capacity to analyze and interpret extensive datasets, translating findings into actionable business recommendations.
• Knowledge of hotel revenue management principles, sales activation strategies, distribution channels, marketing performance, loyalty programs, and profitability metrics.
• Exceptional consulting, communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
• Strong executive presence with effective communication skills for interacting with hotel owners and senior leaders.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities while overseeing a geographically diverse portfolio.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
• Ability to navigate uncertainty and adjust priorities in a changing business environment.

• Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management, Business Management, Marketing, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent education and work experience.
• Regular travel of approximately 70% is required.
• Ability to travel independently throughout the designated territory.
