Area Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Lead, inspire, and mentor Clinical Directors and practice leaders throughout the Ireland Area 1.

• Enhance operational, commercial, and personnel performance across a network of veterinary practices.

• Advocate for colleague wellbeing, engagement, and retention initiatives.

• Ensure outstanding clinical quality and client service.

• Discover opportunities to elevate performance and assist underperforming practices.

• Develop leadership skills through coaching, mentoring, and succession planning.

• Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing among practices.

• Collaborate with the Area Support Manager and central support teams on strategic projects.

• Assist with acquisitions and practice integration efforts.

• Manage area financial performance, budgets, and key business KPIs.

• Represent the organization’s culture, values, and strategic goals.

• Extensive leadership experience, encompassing the coaching and development of senior leaders.

• Proven history of achieving strong business outcomes.

• Experience overseeing multiple sites, regions, or locations.

• Strong commercial insight and operational acumen.

• Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.

• Capacity to inspire, motivate, and engage diverse teams.

• Experience in driving performance improvement and organizational change.

• Solid financial knowledge, including budget management and KPI achievement.

• High emotional intelligence, resilience, and adaptability.

• Valid driving license.

• Willingness to travel extensively throughout Ireland.
