This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Directly report to the Regional Business Leader while aligning with the sales team’s objectives and strategies.
• Establish trustworthy relationships with healthcare providers and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Foster relationships with targeted healthcare professionals (HCPs) to enhance awareness of the therapeutic area and Acadia products.
• Communicate MLR-approved educational content and disease-state information to targeted HCPs.
• Strategically plan and implement territory business plans to surpass goals and meet activity, adherence, and financial targets.
• Nurture relationships with key opinion leaders and stakeholders within the territory.
• Address client concerns and work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve issues.
• Evaluate sales potential and enhance outreach while adhering to budget and compliance guidelines.
• Work in conjunction with cross-functional teams to support both patients and providers.
• Engage in patient advocacy events, conferences, training sessions, and other industry-related activities.
• Stay updated on market trends, Acadia products, and the relevant therapeutic area.
• Advise customers on product pricing and accessibility, while coordinating with internal teams.
• Seek opportunities for professional development and leadership growth.
• Represent Acadia’s mission, values, and culture during customer interactions.
• A bachelor’s degree is required, ideally in life sciences.
• Minimum of 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience at the Area Business Manager level.
• At least 1 year of experience in specialty sales, particularly in rare diseases.
• Preferred experience in specialty sales related to rare diseases, CNS/neurology, or pediatric neurology.
• Knowledge of specialty distribution and access is advantageous.
• Strong selling and dialogue capabilities.
• Ability to cultivate relationships with KOLs, Centers of Excellence, and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Capability to work cross-functionally and implement actionable business plans that enhance patient access.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Must reside within the designated territory.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently, including overnight trips and air travel.
• Must maintain good standing with the FDA and OIG.
• Ability to operate a company-provided vehicle and remain eligible for it.
• Capable of traveling independently overnight and by plane.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time and work after hours as necessary.
• Ability to occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 20 pounds.
• Must live within a reasonable distance from a major airport when required by the territory's geography.
