This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +1 more state.
• Direct a team of Neurology Account Specialists across designated regions.
• Build a premier NAS team and spearhead demand generation in line with FDA-approved indications.
• Develop and implement business strategies to achieve or surpass sales targets.
• Communicate intricate clinical information regarding the therapy to customers and key stakeholders.
• Execute and manage local business plans to fulfill regional goals.
• Act as the primary liaison for designated key institutions.
• Coordinate Pharmacy and Therapeutics processes and oversee product-access procedures.
• Cultivate relationships with institutional stakeholders.
• Attract, recruit, mentor, coach, train, motivate, and manage the performance of NASs.
• Lead and execute a successful product launch.
• Organize virtual and in-person meetings with internal franchise partners.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and Eisai values.
• Participate in industry congresses, medical conferences, local and regional meetings, as well as sales and training sessions.
• Oversee daily operations in accordance with Eisai policies and regulations.
• Address operational conflicts and tackle territory and business challenges.
• Align with the Regional Business Director regarding the selling model and NAS customer engagement skills.
• Foster a high-performance culture with team accountability.
• Build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders alongside the AD Regional Thought Leader Liaison.
• Relay business updates and launch progress to Eisai senior leadership.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution (BA, BS or equivalent) is required.
• A minimum of 7 years in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device sales.
• At least 5 years of successful experience in hiring, developing, and leading teams.
• Experience in buy-and-bill, diagnostics (integrated, complex), infusion, neurology, and clinical/medical settings.
• Additional experience in commercial functions is preferred.
• Proven ability to build and execute comprehensive business plans.
• In-depth understanding of healthcare ecosystems and account management.
• Experience collaborating with integrated delivery networks and health systems, ideally in a biopharmaceutical manufacturer role.
• Strong grasp of pharmaceutical manufacturer compliance and regulatory obligations.
• Proven track record of delivering strong results and profitability.
• Expertise in the U.S. healthcare industry, encompassing care delivery, market access, reimbursement, and local healthcare stakeholders.
• Ability to network and sustain business relationships within a multidisciplinary matrix team.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle legally and safely.
• Full COVID-19 vaccination with the ability to provide valid proof of vaccination by the start date, subject to applicable law.
• Willingness to travel 80% of the time.
• Capability to engage in person with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and other third parties regularly.
• May be required to meet third-party credentialing and/or entry standards.
