Architect, Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and establish software architecture that fulfills both business and technical requirements

• Facilitate architectural discussions, introduce new design patterns, and offer guidance on technical choices

• Work alongside product managers and stakeholders to ensure software architecture aligns with business objectives

• Perform code reviews and set best practices to maintain high software quality

• Implement and promote security, scalability, performance optimization, and other engineering best practices

• Mentor and support software engineers in their technical capabilities and architectural principles

• Diagnose and resolve intricate technical challenges related to software design and system performance

• Investigate and produce proofs of concept for technologies that may enhance the software ecosystem

• Generate comprehensive technical documentation for software architecture and design

• Propel continuous enhancement in software development processes and practices

• Lead the technical vision for software projects, ensuring an effective bridge between development and operations for high-quality delivery

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering with a keen emphasis on architecture and system design

• Proficiency in software development utilizing modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript)

• In-depth knowledge of software design patterns, microservices architecture, and RESTful API design

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

• Skilled in database design and technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Redis)

• Solid understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks

• Demonstrated experience in leading technical teams and mentoring engineers

• Proven track record of enhancing team efficiency or output quality through the strategic application of AI tools and automation

• An up-to-date resume translated into English is required for consideration
