Architect, Civil Engineer – Energy Consulting for Hotels

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee energy consulting initiatives—from the initial client interaction to the delivery of finalized plans.

• Perform on-site evaluations of properties.

• Assess the existing structural and technical state of buildings and document pertinent details.

• Provide clear explanations of practical and cost-efficient energy-efficiency strategies based on analytical results.

• Assist clients through the multi-step consulting journey.

• Deliver findings in a well-structured, clear, and persuasive manner, both verbally and in writing.

• Convert technical insights into easily digestible recommendations.

• Ensure projects are executed in a focused and practical manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed degree or vocational training in architecture, civil engineering, or a similar field.

• Exceptional communication skills—you can articulate technical concepts clearly and convincingly.

• Experience in customer interactions, preferably with sales responsibilities in a consulting context.

• Technical knowledge of buildings, building services engineering, and energy-related interdependencies.

• A structured, independent, and solution-oriented work approach.

• Willingness to attend on-site meetings with hotel clients across Germany.

• Preferred: Experience leading energy consulting or construction projects.

• Preferred: Familiarity with funding programs and subsidies (BEG, KfW, BAFA).

• Preferred: Experience using energy consulting software such as Envisys or similar tools.

• Preferred: A passion for sustainability, especially in the hospitality sector.
