Arabic (Egyptian) Language Expert – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Engage in conversations with the model in Egyptian Arabic on a variety of subjects.

• Ensure linguistic precision and cultural appropriateness.

• Capture reproducible error patterns.

• Propose enhancements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

• Evaluate advanced language models in terms of contextual understanding, dialectal differences, semantic precision, and cultural subtleties.

• Record instances of model failures to enhance model reasoning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in the Arabic (Egyptian) language.

• In-depth knowledge of phonetics, morphology, syntax, regional dialects, colloquial phrases, and cultural references.

• Capability to evaluate contextual understanding, dialectal differences, semantic precision, and cultural subtleties.

• Competence in documenting reproducible model failure patterns.

• Skill in proposing enhancements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

• Clear, reflective communication (“showing your work”).

• Relevant professional experience in teaching, translation, language documentation, or community engagement is a plus.

• A Master's degree in Linguistics, Middle Eastern Studies, Translation, or a related discipline is preferred.
