A/R Auditor – Project Hire

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Review medical claims, coding, and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) for inaccuracies prior to or following submission.

• Transition into a traditional Accounts Receivable Representative position upon successful project completion.

• Contact insurance payers to clarify reasons for claim denials or incorrect payments.

• Draft appeals to insurance companies to reverse denied or insufficiently paid claims.

• Collaborate with national payers that operate across various states.

• Utilize multiple practice management systems and workflow technologies.

• Address and resolve client inquiries related to outstanding insurance claims.

• Monitor payer portals for the status of insurance claims.

• Engage in team and client meetings.

• Partner with leadership to enhance client collections and secure payment for additional insurance claims.

• Prioritize work queues to optimize efficiency.

• Foster relationships and promote a positive team environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing or accounts receivable.

• Proficiency in Epic or NextGen software is highly preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Strong customer service orientation with an emphasis on quality delivery.
