Appraisal Quality Assurance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Manage the appraisal process from the initial inspection to the completion of the final report.

• Evaluate appraisal estimates and reports to ensure they are accurate, complete, consistent, and compliant.

• Conduct appraisals and handle appraisal claims as necessary.

• Recruit, train, and provide support to contractor appraisers.

• Collaborate with appraisers and internal teams to resolve errors, offer feedback, and implement improvements in processes.

• Keep detailed records of appraisal reviews, findings, and corrective measures taken.

• Identify recurring issues and relay findings to management.

• Perform regular market analyses and keep track of market conditions, economic factors, industry trends, and regulatory changes.

• Utilize sales comparison, cost, and income valuation methodologies.

• Maintain necessary certifications and utilize appraisal software, databases, and related technologies.

• Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, client specifications, and industry standards.

• Establish and uphold quality control measures for accurate and consistent valuations.

• Execute other responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed claims adjuster.

• Certified Appraiser Property & Casualty Adjusting License.

• Over 10 years of experience in property personal lines insurance claims.

• Knowledgeable in Xactimate and Xactanalysis.

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

• Ability to maintain composure and organization in a fast-paced setting.

• Growth-oriented, willing to share ideas for process enhancements and encourage open communication.

• Proficient in computer use, including Microsoft Office, various web browsers, and PDF applications.

• Capacity to learn the company's Job Management Systems.

• Must qualify as a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR requirements: U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee in the United States.
