Appraisal Quality Assurance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Manage the appraisal process from the initial inspection to the completion of the final report.

• Examine appraisal estimates and reports for precision, thoroughness, consistency, and compliance with regulatory and industry standards.

• Carry out appraisals and oversee appraisal claims as required.

• Recruit, train, and assist contractor appraisers to fulfill performance expectations and client service level agreements (SLAs).

• Collaborate with appraisers and internal teams to rectify errors, offer feedback, and drive process enhancements.

• Keep precise records of appraisal reviews, findings, and corrective measures taken.

• Recognize trends and recurring problems and relay findings to management.

• Conduct regular market analyses and keep track of market conditions, economic factors, industry trends, and regulatory changes.

• Utilize sales comparison, cost, and income valuation methodologies.

• Sustain relevant certifications and leverage appraisal software, databases, and related technologies.

• Ensure adherence to state and federal laws, client specifications, and industry norms.

• Formulate, implement, and uphold quality control protocols for accurate and consistent valuations.

• Execute other tasks as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed claims adjuster.

• Certified Appraiser Property & Casualty Adjusting License.

• Over 10 years of experience in property personal lines insurance claims.

• Familiarity with Xactimate and Xactanalysis.

• Outstanding teamwork and communication skills.

• Capability to remain composed and organized in a dynamic work environment.

• Growth-oriented mindset, sharing insights with operations to enhance process efficiencies and promote transparent communication.

• Proficient in computer use, including Microsoft Office, various web browsers, and PDF applications.

• Ability to learn the company’s Job Management Systems.

• Must qualify as a U.S. Person as defined for ITAR compliance: U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or an individual granted asylum in the United States.
