Applied AI Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Design and oversee comprehensive Applied AI architectures encompassing predictive ML, MLOps, generative AI, RAG, and agentic workflows.

• Convert unclear business challenges into actionable use cases, technical specifications, solution alternatives, and implementation strategies.

• Direct delivery teams through stages of discovery, prototyping, implementation, deployment, and productionization.

• Ensure that solutions adhere to standards of reliability, scalability, security, and governance.

• Collaborate with client stakeholders, senior architects, and sales teams during discovery and architecture workshops, roadmap development, proposals, statements of work, and technical presentations.

• Record architecture decisions, patterns, reference designs, and lessons learned for future reference across clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in designing, building, or delivering Data, Analytics, Cloud, Software, Machine Learning, or AI solutions, with at least 5 years in leadership roles for AI, ML, MLOps, or data-intensive solutions in production environments.

• In-depth knowledge of Applied AI and contemporary ML systems, including predictive ML, MLOps, generative AI, LLM applications, RAG, semantic retrieval, and agentic architectures.

• Demonstrated experience in architecting and operationalizing production AI/ML systems, covering model deployment, inference, monitoring, evaluation, retraining, and governance.

• Practical experience with Snowflake, Databricks, at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), dbt, and modern AI platforms like Anthropic or OpenAI.

• Proficiency in Python with a solid working knowledge of SQL.

• Capability to assess technology options and trade-offs, integrate AI solutions with enterprise data platforms and applications, and implement CI/CD and productionization practices for AI/ML systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Preferred qualifications include expertise in advanced agentic AI systems, enterprise-scale RAG, advanced MLOps, reusable accelerators, multi-client solutions, enterprise industry experience, and contributions to the technical community or open-source projects.
