Applied AI Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and lead the comprehensive architecture, solution design, and implementation of agentic AI solutions for enterprise clients across various sectors.

• Create and develop reusable agentic accelerators and reference architectures that align with the Intelligence Platform.

• Convert vague business challenges into well-defined agentic solution designs.

• Design production-grade agents with a focus on reliability, scalability, security, observability, evaluation, and guardrails.

• Ensure that engagements are completed on schedule, within the defined scope, and deliver measurable business value.

• Define architectural standards for the development and deployment of agentic capabilities and accelerators.

• Lay the groundwork for the India Agentic Delivery Center by creating scalable patterns, tools, and workflows.

• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, data engineers, platform/DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders who are deployed in the field.

• Maintain quality through code reviews, documentation, testing, governance, and compliance with security standards.

• Collaborate with practice and account leaders to grow engagements, enhance delivery, and standardize AI deployment and operations.

• Contribute to the development of intellectual property, accelerators, reference architectures, templates, playbooks, and training in AI engineering.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, influencing roadmaps and strategic choices.

• Mentor and guide team members.

• Establish and refine practice standards, reusable assets, and delivery frameworks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience as an AI Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, Software Engineer, or Data Engineer, with a focus on building and deploying production AI/ML solutions, including recent hands-on experience with LLM-powered or agentic applications.

• Practical knowledge of Large Language Models, agentic architectures, retrieval frameworks (RAG), prompt design, context engineering, and tool/function calling.

• Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain and LlamaIndex, along with multi-agent patterns, memory, planning, and protocols such as MCP.

• Expertise in designing evaluation, guardrail, and observability strategies for LLM and agent systems (LLMOps/AgentOps).

• Proficient in modern programming languages like Python, including API development.

• In-depth knowledge of cloud-native AI/ML platforms such as AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Azure AI/ML, and Snowflake Cortex, with experience in production deployment.

• Comprehensive experience in the software development lifecycle, including design, documentation, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing operations.

• Demonstrated use of AI-assisted development tools.

• Strong command of SQL with the ability to write, debug, and optimize complex distributed queries.

• Experience delivering projects for external or internal clients in professional services or consulting, preferably on a fixed-bid basis.

• Capability to decompose ambiguous problems into structured, actionable steps.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to present technical solutions to clients and facilitate technical and business discussions.

• Ability to work effectively with distributed, cross-functional teams across the US, LATAM, and India.

• Proven ability to take ownership, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience is preferred but not mandatory.
