Applied AI Research Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Conduct research, testing, and assessment of AI tools that are pertinent to Vulcury's operations.

• Discover AI tools and workflows that enhance prospecting, outbound efforts, content creation, and funnel effectiveness.

• Investigate AI-assisted methodologies that relate to development processes, including AI/ML and matching-engine projects at Trustbridge.

• Identify AI solutions for recruiting, onboarding, and performance management workflows.

• Assess AI applications in areas such as finance, legal/compliance support, research, and shared functions.

• Pinpoint client-facing applications that enhance the quality, speed, or depth of consulting and venture activities.

• Maintain a comprehensive overview of the competitive landscape and partner ecosystem.

• Monitor vendors, tools, competitive challenges, substitutes, and opportunities for partnerships or build/buy decisions.

• Convert research insights into actionable recommendations for leadership.

• Report directly to the CEO and collaborate with functional leaders across Development, HR, Growth, and Operations.

• Full-time internship based in India.

• Proficient speaking, writing, and listening abilities.

• Capability to discern what leadership needs to know and the appropriate timing for communication.

• Self-motivated work ethic and dependability without the need for close supervision.

• Authentic intellectual curiosity and the ability to swiftly assess unfamiliar tools and technical concepts.

• Positive demeanor and the capacity to infuse energy and options into leadership discussions.

• Submission of a resume along with a written response of no more than 300 words describing an AI tool personally used or evaluated recently.

• Helpful but not mandatory: experience with AI/ML tools, LLM-based products, or automation platforms as a user, developer, or researcher.

• Helpful but not mandatory: ability to quickly comprehend vendor documentation, product change logs, and technical articles.

• Helpful but not mandatory: interest in business strategy or competitive analysis.
