Life Sciences Researcher, AI Evaluation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ghana.

📋 Description

• Develop complex life-sciences reasoning challenges for AI assessment.

• Design tasks grounded in realistic experiments, biological datasets, figures, sequences, structures, and scientific evidence.

• Formulate questions that have clear, objectively justifiable answers.

• Create thorough expert reference answers that elucidate the necessary scientific reasoning.

• Ensure that tasks assess interpretation and synthesis rather than mere factual recall.

• Validate biological assertions, calculations, assumptions, and conclusions.

• Recognize ambiguity, alternative valid interpretations, and inadequately defined questions.

• Construct tasks that effectively distinguish advanced AI models based on their scientific reasoning capabilities.

• Integrate reviewer feedback while upholding high standards of quality and efficiency.

• Clearly document tasks in a reproducible manner where applicable.

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD, postdoctoral experience, or equivalent advanced research background in the Life Sciences.

• In-depth knowledge in at least one biological discipline.

• Strong capability to interpret scientific experiments, data, and research outcomes.

• Solid understanding of experimental design and scientific reasoning.
