Embedded AI Security Research Engineer, AI MSc/PhD/Postdoc

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Safeguard AI models, algorithms, and data against emerging threats.

• Investigate and prototype cutting-edge AI security technologies.

• Study adversarial AI, model extraction attacks, privacy-preserving AI, and trustworthy AI.

• Secure AI workloads on advanced semiconductor platforms.

• Convert research concepts into functional prototypes and future product ideas.

• Work collaboratively with professionals in AI, Security, Software, Hardware, and Silicon Engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• Recently completed or nearing completion of a PhD, Postdoc, or distinguished Master's degree in AI, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Cryptography, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Familiarity or experience in AI / Machine Learning.

• Familiarity or experience with Large Language Models (LLMs).

• Familiarity or experience in Deep Learning.

• Familiarity or experience in Adversarial Machine Learning.

• Familiarity or experience in AI Security.

• Familiarity or experience in Privacy-Preserving AI.

• Familiarity or experience in Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs).

• Experience with frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, or similar.

• Proficiency in Python and experimental prototyping.

• A strong enthusiasm for AI and its application in real-world products.

• A conscientious and dependable approach to security-related tasks and responsibilities within the scope of security certifications.
