Applied AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Develop and deploy AI-driven internal tools for hiring, finance, and operational workflows.

• Assess, integrate, and link AI models, APIs, and frameworks into production-ready internal solutions.

• Work with large language models (LLMs), agent frameworks, embedding pipelines, and AI programming tools.

• Document and disseminate tools to enhance efficiency across the organization.

• Write clean, maintainable code that integrates APIs, databases, and third-party services.

• Take ownership of deployments from start to finish: build, test, ship, monitor, and ensure reliable operation.

• Collaborate with non-technical teams to identify challenges and design automated solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A technical background with practical building experience; a computer science degree, bootcamp, or self-taught experience is acceptable.

• Proven experience in building and delivering functional software or tools.

• Familiarity with contemporary AI tools, including LLMs, AI coding assistants, and workflow automation.

• Experience in a startup or entrepreneurial setting, such as founding initiatives, constructing essential internal infrastructure, or developing user solutions.

• Ability to operate swiftly and communicate effectively.

• Capability to work alongside non-technical teams to comprehend challenges and devise automated solutions.

• Proficiency in English.

• German language skills are a plus.

• Experience with tools like Make, n8n, Retool, Supabase, or similar platforms is advantageous.

• Must be eligible to work in the candidate's current location without restrictions.
