This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Develop innovative AI-driven product features from conception to deployment
• Enhance current AI processes for improved quality, dependability, speed, and user satisfaction
• Design and execute workflows based on LLMs, including structured outputs, validation mechanisms, and fallback strategies
• Create evaluation loops, tests, and quality assurance measures for AI-generated content
• Incorporate AI functionalities into existing product and backend infrastructures
• Collaborate with both commercial and open-source LLMs
• Provide support for self-hosted model workflows when applicable
• Troubleshoot AI feature issues related to inputs, outputs, data, backend logic, and user interactions
• Deliver results swiftly while ensuring high production standards
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams, taking accountability for results
• Proficient software engineering skills, particularly in Python or a similar backend programming language
• Experience in developing AI-driven product features or workflows based on LLMs
• Capability to translate vague product concepts into functional software rapidly
• Comprehensive understanding of designing, testing, validating, and enhancing AI outputs
• Proven experience integrating AI workflows into live production environments
• Strong debugging skills regarding application logic, data, model outputs, and user interactions
• Experience in evaluating, testing, validating, or conducting quality checks on AI-generated outputs
• Significant experience with AI development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot, or similar in your daily tasks
• High intelligence, quick learning ability, a proactive approach, and an ownership mentality
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, making swift decisions, and thriving in a high-trust startup culture
• Proficient in written and spoken English
• Nice-to-have: Experience in frontend or fullstack product development
• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with self-hosted LLMs, model serving, inference optimization, or related systems
• Nice-to-have: Knowledge of open-source LLMs and associated deployment processes
• Nice-to-have: Experience in enhancing the latency, cost, quality, or reliability of AI systems
• Nice-to-have: Background in healthcare software, healthcare data, or regulated sectors
• Nice-to-have: Expertise in structured data extraction, documentation automation, voice workflows, or workflow automation
• Nice-to-have: Proficiency in the German language
• Nice-to-have: Understanding of nursing homes or workflows related to elderly care
