Applications Development Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, enhance, and maintain backend services utilizing IBM ITX Design Studio, Command, Launcher services, and Design Server.

• Engage in discussions with stakeholders to comprehend user requirements and perform thorough requirements analysis.

• Create, develop, and implement business logic while following secure coding practices and organizational security protocols.

• Support solution design, development, and configuration, including static analysis tasks to assess design quality.

• Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability by adhering to organizational best practices.

• Aid in the creation of test plans and test cases, identify testing stakeholders, and analyze execution outcomes.

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while facilitating script enhancements and upkeep.

• Collect and integrate user feedback to foster continuous improvement of EDI/API integrations.

• Prepare technical documentation, which includes interface descriptions and functional/non-functional details.

• Document processes and test outcomes related to software architecture, application design, and component integration.

• Assist in training team members on applications and enhancement features.

• Generate reports for stakeholders and participate in internal or external compliance audits as necessary.

• Configure and support integrations in Linux environments, including log analysis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in IBM ITX/WTX, encompassing Design Studio, Command Server, Launcher Services, and Design Server.

• Extensive experience with EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON, CSV, and SOAP/XML.

• Experience in Linux administration, troubleshooting, and log analysis.

• Familiarity with version control using Git.

• Exposure to CI/CD processes utilizing Jenkins.

• Experience in supporting B2Bi integrations and onboarding trading partners.

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in EDI integration development with IBM Transformation Extender (ITX).

• Demonstrated experience in onboarding, implementation, support, and enhancement of B2Bi integrations.

• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, external partners, and cross-functional technology teams.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

• Preferable experience with Axway B2Bi, API Gateway, Microsoft Azure, and within the logistics/supply chain/transportation domain.
