Applications Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vermont.

📋 Description

• Analyze, provide technical support for, and maintain software related to hospital billing.

• Evaluate user requirements and create solutions that adhere to organizational, regulatory, and IT best practice standards.

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the software and tools necessary to fulfill end-user requirements while complying with established guidelines.

• Collaborate with end users, vendors, and internal IT teams to enhance business processes.

• Ensure seamless integration of software applications with operational workflows and billing compliance.

• Create and deliver training documentation, which includes business analysis, training materials, user guides, and training environments.

• Develop, test, and maintain training environments.

• Provide support coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week as needed.

• Travel regularly across the UVM Health Network as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline is highly preferred.

• For Epic Application support, certification must be obtained within 120 days of hire, with a maximum of three attempts allowed.

• Preferred: A minimum of 3 years of experience in application support and/or implementation.

• Alternatively: 3+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role.

• Possession of the ability and means to travel regularly throughout the UVM Health Network may be necessary.

• Capability to provide 24/7 support coverage may be required.
