Application Support Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Provide support and resolve issues related to integrations, APIs, data feeds, and business applications within underwriting, claims, CRM, and captive insurance systems.

• Oversee system performance, ensure data quality, and manage scheduled processes.

• Develop SQL queries and reports to verify data accuracy, investigate problems, and fulfill business requirements.

• Assist with application administration, user access management, configuration modifications, and documentation tasks.

• Collaborate with business and technology teams to address challenges and enhance system efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent level of experience.

• 2 to 4 years of experience in application support, systems support, or integrations.

• Proficient in SQL and familiar with data validation principles.

• Experience in supporting policy administration, claims, risk management, or insurance-related systems.

• Strong skills in troubleshooting, analysis, and communication.

• Previous experience in Commercial Lines, Property & Casualty, or Captive Insurance settings is preferred.
