Application Support Engineer, ROL Testing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Deliver prompt technical assistance to users.

• Organize training sessions for users on application usage.

• Execute thorough integration and system testing within cloud environments.

• Collaborate within a well-established, small-scale Agile team to enhance the application.

• Oversee defect management using Jira.

• Engage in advanced JavaScript training and specialized workshops centered on ROL testing methods and CI/CD practices.

• Create and sustain ROL system rules and models utilizing JavaScript.

• Resolve user issues effectively.

• Collaborate with the team to enhance the ROL application.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or engineering field and a minimum of 3 years of engineering, IT, or technical experience, or over 5 years of relevant experience.

• Excellent verbal communication skills, with the capability to convey technical instructions clearly and assist users with patience and understanding.

• Experience in application support.

• Background in integration and system testing in cloud environments.

• Proficient in JavaScript scripting, including knowledge of variables, loops, and functions.

• Experience working in an Agile team environment.

• Familiarity with defect management in Jira.

• Preferred: Knowledge or experience with ASTRO 25, MOTOTRBO, MCC 7500E, and AXS Consoles.

• Preferred: Experience in Radio Online (ROL), LMR, or public safety communication systems.
