This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Supervise critical flows and DAGs actively during the time frame of 3:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
• Address incidents ranging from P1 to P5 according to the runbooks and guidelines set by the Tech Lead of NEQUI.
• Perform initial diagnostics: review Airflow logs, Grafana metrics, and Redshift status.
• Manage incident traceability in Jira SM with comprehensive documentation.
• Execute and validate dbt pipelines and AWS Glue flows as applicable.
• Engage in the collaborative development of operational runbooks.
• Maintain effective communication with the DRE and the Tech Lead of NEQUI during operations.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies (planning, review, retrospective).
• Over 2 years of experience in data engineering, DataOps, or data platform support.
• Proficient with Apache Airflow: reading logs, debugging DAGs, and task reactivation.
• Knowledge of dbt: executing models, interpreting errors, and conducting quality tests.
• Advanced SQL skills for diagnostics in Amazon Redshift.
• Familiarity with AWS Glue and Lambda for diagnosing ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Ability to read and interpret dashboards in Grafana.
• Experience with Jira or an equivalent ITSM tool.
• Availability to work in rotating shifts including overnight and weekends.
• Active shift: 3:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. during the assigned week (weekly rotation among the 3 ASDs).
• On-call standby outside of active shifts according to rotation.
• Daytime schedule (8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.) during the week of support and improvement activities.
