Application Program Manager, Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee the release calendar while coordinating release timelines across multiple concurrent projects.

• Establish and implement release management processes, which include criteria for release readiness, approval checkpoints, and rollback strategies.

• Collaborate with development, QA, and UAT teams to clarify release scope, sequencing, and dependencies.

• Facilitate release planning and go/no-go meetings, ensuring that risks and outstanding items are communicated to stakeholders prior to deployment.

• Coordinate deployment actions across development, testing, staging, and production environments in collaboration with technical teams.

• Maintain comprehensive release documentation, including release notes, change logs, and post-release analyses.

• Identify and address release risks, escalating concerns that may impact timelines or client obligations.

• Assist with post-release monitoring and ensure prompt resolution of issues following go-live.

• Continuously enhance release management practices and templates to foster consistency across all engagements.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in release management, deployment coordination, or a similar delivery role in software implementation or technology consulting environments.

• A Bachelor's degree.

• ITIL certification.

• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), environment management, and change control processes.

• Familiarity with release or work-tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, or equivalent platforms.

• Strong stakeholder management abilities, with a proven capacity to coordinate between technical and business teams under pressure.

• Experience handling multiple release schedules concurrently in a dynamic environment.

• Experience collaborating with federal or state government agencies is a plus, but not required.
