Application Product Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, architect, and implement tailored applications

• Elicit requirements, develop application specifications, and create custom application solutions

• Collaborate with functional teams to facilitate application development

• Identify needs or issues, formulate strategies, and propose or implement technical and process solutions

• Collaborate with MIS personnel to create, maintain, and support relational databases, access control systems, and web technologies

• Convert gathered requirements into finished applications

• Design and develop reusable, reliable code ensuring quality, performance, and responsiveness

• Actively engage with business units to address business needs and infrastructure limitations

• Plan, design, and execute custom applications

• Work alongside the Business Intelligence Analyst to analyze workflows, define business requirements, and prepare specifications for end-user approval

• Manage User Acceptance Testing in coordination with the Analytics Tester and development team

• Take ownership of developed applications and oversee application operations

• Organize upgrades with stakeholders to reduce user impact

• Develop backup levels and schedules in collaboration with backup administrators

• Adhere to change-control procedures and produce basic technical documentation

• Monitor supported systems and inform about potential service issues

• Consult with end users and analysts to resolve technical challenges and ensure satisfaction

• Develop and implement industry-standard security protocols for application development

• Safeguard user accounts, operating systems, applications, communications, and data

• Maintain technical proficiency through continuous professional development

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field required

• 2–4 years of relevant experience

• Strong expertise in developing custom application solutions

• Demonstrated ability to meet development deadlines and manage expectations

• Capability to analyze end user needs and suggest process enhancements

• Excellent interpersonal, mentoring, coaching, collaboration, and team-building skills

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities

• Proficient in problem-solving and debugging complex processes and applications

• Ability to work independently as well as a strong team player

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously

• Integrity and decision-making skills essential for handling confidential personal health information

• Expert-level knowledge and experience with Microsoft Visual Studio

• High-level proficiency in .NET full-stack web development

• Advanced experience with CSS, HTML, HTML5, and JavaScript

• Familiarity with MS SQL Server and TSQL

• Knowledge of MS SharePoint tools

• High computer literacy with Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, VISIO, graphics software, and business systems

• Must reside in NC, SC, GA, TN, VA, MD, or FL
