Application Modernization Specialist Consultant Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assist in modernizing enterprise applications and driving digital transformation efforts.

• Evaluate current applications and propose strategies for modernization, architectural enhancements, and cloud-native solutions.

• Create modern application architectures utilizing Google Cloud Platform services and technologies.

• Facilitate application development, DevOps, and platform engineering projects.

• Implement and enhance automated build, testing, deployment, and infrastructure pipelines.

• Establish and refine Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.

• Integrate AI-driven development methodologies throughout the Software Development Lifecycle.

• Promote the use of AI-assisted engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, and software development practices.

• Collaborate closely with clients to grasp technical requirements, define solutions, and deliver specialized consulting services.

• Work together with technical teams, architects, developers, platform engineers, and stakeholders across LATAM and global settings.

• Contribute to enhancing software delivery cycles, engineering efficiency, application reliability, and modernization results.

• Extensive experience in modernizing and transforming enterprise applications.

• Proficient in evaluating legacy systems and formulating application modernization strategies.

• Familiarity with modern application architecture principles and patterns.

• Experience in designing scalable, resilient, maintainable, and cloud-native applications.

• Strong foundation in software development.

• Practical knowledge of DevOps methodologies and engineering best practices.

• Experience with platform engineering concepts and their implementation.

• Skilled in automating software development, infrastructure, testing, and deployment pipelines.

• Deep understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.

• Hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform environments.

• Proven experience in developing and architecting cloud-native solutions on GCP.

• Knowledge of cloud architecture, application services, infrastructure automation, observability, reliability, and security practices.

• Familiarity with AI-driven Software Development Lifecycle (AI-driven SDLC) practices.

• Knowledge or experience with Antigravity.

• Knowledge or experience with Antigravity 2.0.

• Knowledge or experience with Antigravity CLI.

• Understanding of AI-augmented Site Reliability Engineering (AI-augmented SRE).

• Familiarity with Spec-driven Development.

• Knowledge of Intent Spec-driven Development.

• Experience with ADK – Agent Development Kit, or equivalent AI agent development frameworks.
