Application Engineer – Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Conduct and document feasibility assessments.

• Define and manage the development of innovative solutions.

• Oversee products/solutions through their entire lifecycle, from conception to maintenance, in partnership with stakeholders and management.

• Manage and document workflows, projects, specifications, and technical drawings.

• Supervise machine assembly processes during production by partners.

• Oversee installation, integration, and maintenance throughout the machine's lifecycle.

• Conduct problem analysis, offer support, and troubleshoot through remote diagnostics and on-site in Northern Europe.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in automation as an Automation, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineer, or a comparable position.

• Proven success in implementing automation solutions (machines) in real-world settings.

• Ability to adopt a solution-oriented mindset (considering all elements of the automation solution).

• A strong sense of ownership over the product.

• Competence in project management.

• Capability to apply an agile work approach for rapid solution development.

• Ability to work independently and focus on solutions (we prioritize a remote-first environment).

• Excellent communication abilities.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience engaging with customers and in client-facing roles.

• Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

• Willingness and enthusiasm to travel up to 80% of the time.

• Proficient in English.
