This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, configure, maintain, and enhance the functionality of Epic Cadence within both ambulatory and specialty care settings.
• Work collaboratively with operational, clinical, and leadership teams to enhance scheduling workflows and improve patient access processes.
• Set up and maintain provider templates, appointment types, scheduling rules, visit types, resources, and department configurations.
• Analyze business needs and convert operational requirements into Epic solutions and workflow enhancements.
• Assist with Cadence-related implementations, upgrades, system improvements, and optimization efforts.
• Diagnose application issues, determine root causes, and implement lasting solutions.
• Conduct system testing, validation, and quality assurance for upgrades, new functionalities, and workflow modifications.
• Facilitate referral scheduling, decision trees, wait lists, provider scheduling, and patient access processes.
• Create and maintain system specifications, workflow documentation, training materials, and support resources.
• Engage in change management activities while providing education and support to end-users.
• Monitor system performance, assess user feedback, and suggest process enhancements.
• Collaborate with other Epic application teams, integration teams, and external vendors to ensure smooth workflow operations.
• Participate in on-call support and issue resolution as necessary.
• Epic Cadence Certification is mandatory.
• A Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Informatics, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Epic application analyst supporting Cadence.
• Proven experience in supporting Epic implementations, upgrades, optimization projects, or system conversions.
• Strong knowledge of patient access, ambulatory scheduling, referrals, registration, and healthcare operations.
• Experience in gathering business requirements and converting them into technical solutions.
• Proficient in developing test scripts, conducting testing, and documenting outcomes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Preferred: Epic Prelude Certification.
• Preferred: Experience in supporting Community Health Centers, FQHCs, or multi-site ambulatory settings.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Epic Reporting Workbench, Clarity, or SlicerDicer.
• Preferred: Understanding of revenue cycle workflows and their impact on registration and billing.
• Preferred: Experience working remotely with geographically dispersed teams.
