This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Assess quality assurance and testing requirements alongside leadership.
• Supervise activities to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Lead a team of QA professionals and allocate testing resources according to project needs.
• Relay test plans, quality status updates, risks, defects, and issues to upper management.
• Establish and uphold quality assurance standards, testing methodologies, and best practices.
• Manage test planning, execution, defect management, and release validation processes.
• Develop, track, and report on quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives within the QA department.
• Take primary responsibility for the performance of the application administration team.
• Assist in budget development for system, utility, and application software strategies.
• Research, assess, and recommend software tools, application platforms, monitoring systems, and performance enhancement tools.
• Create a comprehensive roadmap for implementing recommended tools.
• Facilitate the acquisition of and maintain an inventory of applications, software, and associated tools and processes.
• Ensure an efficient system performance problem reporting process is established.
• Execute application administration tasks while overseeing team operations.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for application administration activities.
• Provide status reports and make recommendations for ongoing improvement.
• Create training and mentoring programs for the application administration team.
• Design training sessions for IT and business teams regarding application administration roles and processes.
• Act as project leader and subject matter expert on various complex projects.
• Oversee all team activities effectively.
• Manage human resource functions including hiring, performance evaluations, promotion suggestions, career development, corrective actions, and termination recommendations.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) (Required).
• At least 1 year of experience managing people, processes, or projects (Required).
• A minimum of 11 years of relevant experience (Required).
• Proficiency in Application Development Tools.
• Experience in Application Testing.
• Strong Teamwork skills.
• Adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
• Relevant experience may be a combination of applicable work experience and degree obtained (Associate’s Degree = 2 years; Bachelor’s Degree = 4 years).
