Appian Developer Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +45 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee hands-on Appian implementation within delivery teams

• Serve as a trusted advisor for clients

• Offer expert insights on solution delivery

• Design and seamlessly integrate Appian solutions into client architectures

• Execute complex technical solutions utilizing Appian and related technologies

• Engage in hands-on design, development, and testing activities

• Guide clients on design, configuration management, DevSecOps, and various program initiatives

• Ensure that solutions are developed for scalability and performance

• Promote process improvements for clients

• Provide support for internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools

• Mentor, train, and empower team members

• Establish internal processes and tools to enhance business efficiency

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or a related field

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in developing Appian solutions

• At least 2 years of relevant IT experience

• Preference will be given to candidates with active Appian Senior or Lead certifications

• Strong background in Appian delivery using Agile methodologies

• Excellent technical design, implementation, and problem-solving abilities

• Effective communication skills, including the ability to convey complex concepts both verbally and in writing

• Active listening skills to extract critical information from both internal and external partners

• Analytical mindset with strategic foresight

• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while multitasking

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

• US Citizenship is required

• Preference given to candidates located in the DC Metro area

• Some travel may be necessary for client meetings (0-15%)

• Experience with Appian

• Familiarity with RDBMS, including Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL/MariaDB

• Experience with web services, integrations, and middleware such as RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion
