This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Examine patient medical records and extract data for the AHA-GWTG-AS Registry.
• Accurately and consistently apply registry specifications, definitions, inclusion and exclusion criteria, and abstraction guidelines.
• Analyze clinical documentation pertaining to cardiology procedures, diagnoses, treatments, outcomes, complications, and quality measures.
• Input precise and comprehensive data into designated registry platforms, EHRs, vendor tools, and various data collection systems.
• Ensure abstraction accuracy, completeness, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Achieve productivity targets, weekly progress goals, and adhere to internal and client deadlines.
• Engage in quality assurance activities, including feedback, correction, validation, and IRR reviews.
• Collaborate with account leads, team members, and client contacts whenever clarification is necessary.
• Uphold confidentiality and conform to ADN, client, HIPAA, and data security protocols.
• Recent experience with AHA-GWTG-Aortic Stenosis Registry abstraction.
• Capability to independently abstract AHA-GWTG-AS cases utilizing registry specifications and clinical documentation.
• Solid understanding of healthcare quality reporting, registry abstraction, clinical documentation review, and medical record interpretation.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight while ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, thorough documentation, and effective follow-through.
• Comfort with multiple EHRs, registry platforms, vendor tools, and data collection systems.
• Outstanding interpersonal and written communication abilities.
• Contractors must have access to high-speed secure internet, a PC or laptop, and at least two monitors.
• Preferred: familiarity with the AHA-GWTG-AS application, AHA-GWTG-AS reports, and/or related data collection tools.
• Preferred: experience with IRR, QA review, audit validation, and/or abstraction accuracy review.
• Contractors should be available for a minimum of 15 hours per week.
• Must complete an initial phone screening to assess qualifications and verify experience.
