Ansible Developer Engineer – Afternoon Shift

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions utilizing the Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).

• Automate intricate IT processes, enhance service reliability, and boost operational efficiency.

• Serve as a primary technical expert and trusted advisor for automation services.

• Assist in the installation, management, maintenance, and optimization of services and cross-functional Information Systems processes.

• Identify, consolidate, and communicate inefficiencies or opportunities for improvement.

• Review requirements and specifications, determining actions within the scope of responsibility.

• Install and test new software versions.

• Investigate and coordinate the resolution of potential and actual service issues.

• Report directly to the IS Service Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or a related field.

• Minimum of 6+ years of experience with Ansible and AAP.

• Strong practical experience with Ansible and AAP, encompassing playbook development, role management, inventories, and workflows.

• Demonstrated experience in automation, systems engineering, DevOps, and/or infrastructure operations.

• Comprehensive understanding of Python, Linux and Windows systems, networking fundamentals, and enterprise IT environments.

• Good knowledge of version control systems (Git) and automation best practices.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the capability to analyze failures, optimize automation processes, and suggest improvements.

• Advanced proficiency in English is required.
