Animator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Create rapid, high-quality Spine animations for slot games developed from the ground up.

• Animate symbols, winning animations, effects, characters, and various game elements based on concepts and assets produced by the dedicated slot artist.

• Collaborate closely with a specialized team consisting of artists, mathematicians, and developers.

• Prepare and deliver top-notch animation assets and comprehensive game packages to the development team.

• Adhere to deadlines while ensuring consistently high standards of animation quality.

• Work alongside developers to address issues related to animation and integration.

• Design animated banners for marketing initiatives and game trade exhibitions.

• Contribute to the complete animation cycle, from initial concepts and storyboards to refined in-game animations.

• Focus on characters, symbols, UI animations, special effects, and other essential motion elements for games targeting the Florida market.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a 2D Spine Animator in the iGaming sector, preferably with a focus on slot games or casino content from conception to launch.

• Strong proficiency in Spine and After Effects, including relevant plugins.

• Familiarity with graphic AI tools such as Midjourney and Stable Diffusion.

• Solid understanding of animation principles and awareness of styles, effects, and trends within the gaming industry.

• Capability to transform static concepts into polished, production-ready animations.

• Ability to provide and accept constructive feedback, effectively collaborating within a structured, producer-led team.

• Comfort in working both independently and as part of a team.

• Strong problem-solving and creative skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and excel in a fast-paced environment.

• An art background and strong 2D drawing skills are preferred assets.

• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Adobe Photoshop is considered a plus.

• Knowledge of the slot game development pipeline and inter-team dependencies is preferred as an additional asset.

• Other technical or creative skills relevant to game production are considered a plus.

• A CV and portfolio showcasing animation work are required.
