Android Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and manage the native Android application utilizing Kotlin and Jetpack Compose

• Collaborate on defining requirements, technical solutions, and effort assessments

• Create responsive, accessible, and multilingual user interfaces

• Enhance app performance, stability, and scalability

• Implement secure authentication, session management, and data storage protocols

• Develop features based on location and trigger push notifications accordingly

• Address production issues through crash analysis, root cause identification, and hotfix implementation

• Integrate app monitoring systems and analytics tools

• Maintain unit and UI tests while contributing to CI/CD pipelines

• Adhere to architectural and coding standards, engage in code reviews, and keep documentation up-to-date

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in creating native Android applications with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose

• Proven experience in implementing location services and push notifications

• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0/OIDC, session management, and secure credential storage

• Experience in integrating third-party libraries

• Practical experience in writing and sustaining unit and UI tests

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Scrum methodologies

• Proficient in Jira and Confluence

• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with a dedication to continuous learning

• Proficiency in English at a C1 level, as it is the working language with the client
