This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take full ownership of category insights support for major Strategic Account chains.
• Formulate and implement insight-driven strategies throughout the portfolio to achieve sales volume and profit goals.
• Spearhead analytical and strategic collaborations with senior sales executives, sales leads, distributor partners, and relevant retail buyers.
• Create and present insights, analyses, and category assessments.
• Evaluate performance, pinpoint opportunities, and convert findings into actionable recommendations.
• Utilize syndicated, retailer loyalty, and internal data to extract shopper and business insights.
• Design, manage, and enhance reporting and analytics.
• Assess and measure the impact of key initiatives and fine-tune strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to identify and activate growth opportunities across innovation, assortment, shelving, pricing, and promotions.
• Assist with category reviews, new item and program meetings, business planning, and ad hoc analyses.
• Work alongside Sales and the Business Intelligence team, traveling as necessary for customer interactions and business priorities.
• Establish consultative relationships with key stakeholders to influence decision-making and execution.
• Partner with Sales, BI, and Marketing to provide integrated solutions.
• Recognize risks and opportunities, convey implications and recommended actions, and prioritize high-impact tasks.
• Act as a trusted thought partner and present innovative ideas to foster business growth.
• Streamline processes, enhance workflows, and boost team effectiveness.
• Develop capabilities and share best practices to uplift team performance.
• Provide adaptable support across additional customers or categories as business needs change.
• A BA/BS degree is required.
• 5-10 years of relevant business experience in the CPG industry with a supplier, retailer, or distributor.
• BevAl experience is preferred.
• Advanced computer skills in Retailer POS, Syndicated and Panel data, Retail Link, Microsoft Excel, Nielsen and/or Circana.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent data visualization and storytelling skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset.
• Creative thinker capable of communicating and presenting ideas and solutions effectively.
