This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take full ownership of category insights support for essential Strategic Account chains.
• Formulate and implement strategies driven by insights to achieve sales volume and profit goals.
• Spearhead analytical and strategic collaboration with senior sales executives, sales leads, distributor partners, and relevant retail buyers.
• Create and present insights, analyses, and category reviews.
• Evaluate performance, pinpoint opportunities, and convert findings into actionable recommendations.
• Utilize syndicated, retailer loyalty, and internal data to derive shopper and business insights.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting and analytics.
• Assess and analyze key initiatives, refining strategies based on insights gained.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to identify and leverage growth opportunities in innovation, assortment, shelving, pricing, and promotion.
• Assist in category reviews, new item and program meetings, business planning, and ad hoc analyses.
• Work alongside Sales and the Business Intelligence team, traveling as necessary for customer engagement and business priorities.
• Foster consultative relationships with stakeholders to influence decision-making and execution.
• Team up with Sales, BI, and Marketing on integrated solutions driven by insights.
• Identify risks and opportunities, convey implications and recommended actions, and prioritize high-impact initiatives.
• Act as a trusted thought partner, presenting innovative ideas to promote business growth.
• Enhance processes, methods of working, and team efficiency.
• Build capabilities and disseminate best practices.
• Provide flexible support across additional customers or categories as business needs change.
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) is mandatory.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in the CPG industry, either with a supplier, retailer, or distributor.
• BevAl experience is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Retailer POS, Syndicated and Panel data, Retail Link, Microsoft Excel, Nielsen, and/or Circana.
• Proficient in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent data visualization and storytelling skills.
