This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage comprehensive category insights support for essential Strategic Account chains.
• Create and implement insight-driven strategies across the product portfolio to achieve sales volume and profit goals.
• Conduct in-depth analytical and strategic collaboration with senior sales executives, sales leads, distributor partners, and relevant retail buyers.
• Generate and present insights, analyses, and category evaluations that assess performance and uncover opportunities.
• Convert findings into straightforward, actionable recommendations.
• Utilize syndicated, retailer loyalty, and internal data to derive shopper and business insights.
• Design, maintain, and enhance reporting and analytics.
• Assess and evaluate the effects of key initiatives, refining strategies to boost business results.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to pinpoint and activate growth opportunities across innovation, assortment, shelving, pricing, and promotions.
• Assist with category reviews, new item and program meetings, business planning, and ad hoc analyses.
• Work alongside Sales and the Business Intelligence team, including travel as necessary for customer engagement and business priorities.
• Establish and nurture consultative relationships with key stakeholders.
• Engage collaboratively across functions with Sales, BI, and Marketing.
• Recognize risks and opportunities, communicate implications and suggested actions, and prioritize high-impact initiatives.
• Act as a trusted thought partner, offering innovative, insight-driven ideas to stimulate business growth.
• Streamline processes, enhance working methods, and improve overall team effectiveness.
• Develop skills and share best practices to boost team performance and ensure scalable execution.
• Provide adaptable support across additional customers or categories as business needs change.
• BA/BS degree is mandatory.
• 5-10 years of relevant business experience in the CPG industry with a supplier, retailer, or distributor.
• Experience in the beverage alcohol sector is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Retailer POS, Syndicated and Panel data, Retail Link, Microsoft Excel, Nielsen, and/or Circana.
• Competence in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent data visualization and storytelling skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
