This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of comprehensive category insights support for major Strategic Account chains.
• Create and implement insight-driven strategies across the portfolio to achieve sales volume and profit targets.
• Spearhead analytical and strategic discussions with senior sales executives, sales leads, distributor partners, and relevant retail buyers.
• Generate and present insights, analyses, and category assessments.
• Evaluate performance, pinpoint opportunities, and convert findings into actionable recommendations.
• Utilize syndicated, retailer loyalty, and internal data to produce shopper and business insights.
• Design, sustain, and enhance reporting and analytics.
• Assess and quantify the impact of key initiatives and refine strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to recognize and activate growth opportunities across innovation, assortment, shelving, pricing, and promotions.
• Assist with category reviews, new item and program meetings, business planning, and ad hoc analyses.
• Work alongside Sales and the Business Intelligence team, traveling as necessary for customer engagement and business priorities.
• Cultivate consultative relationships with key stakeholders to influence decision-making and execution.
• Partner with Sales, BI, and Marketing to create integrated insight-driven solutions.
• Identify risks and opportunities, communicating implications and recommended actions.
• Act as a trusted thought partner, presenting innovative ideas to stimulate growth.
• Streamline processes, enhance methods of working, and improve team effectiveness.
• Develop capabilities and share best practices to elevate team performance.
• Offer flexible support across additional customers or categories as business needs change.
• BA/BS degree is required.
• 5-10 years of relevant business experience in the CPG industry with a supplier, retailer, or distributor.
• Experience in beverage alcohol is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Retailer POS, Syndicated and Panel data, Retail Link, Microsoft Excel, Nielsen and/or Circana.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent data visualization and storytelling capabilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Creative thinking with the ability to articulate and present ideas and solutions.
