This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Take charge of comprehensive category insights support for major Strategic Account chains.
β’ Formulate and implement insight-driven strategies across the portfolio to achieve sales volume and profit targets.
β’ Spearhead analytical and strategic collaboration with senior sales executives, sales leads, distributor partners, and relevant retail buyers.
β’ Create and present insights, analyses, and category evaluations.
β’ Evaluate performance, pinpoint opportunities, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
β’ Utilize syndicated, retailer loyalty, and internal data to produce shopper and business insights.
β’ Design, maintain, and enhance reporting and analytical processes.
β’ Assess and measure the impact of key initiatives, refining strategies as necessary.
β’ Collaborate with sales leadership to identify and leverage growth opportunities in innovation, assortment, shelving, pricing, and promotions.
β’ Assist in category reviews, new item and program meetings, business planning, and ad hoc analyses.
β’ Work closely with Sales and the Business Intelligence team, with travel as required for customer engagement and business objectives.
β’ Establish consultative relationships with stakeholders to influence decision-making and execution.
β’ Engage in cross-functional collaboration with Sales, BI, and Marketing teams.
β’ Identify risks and opportunities, communicate implications and recommended actions, and prioritize impactful initiatives.
β’ Act as a trusted thought partner, presenting innovative ideas to foster business growth.
β’ Streamline processes, enhance working methods, and boost team effectiveness.
β’ Foster capabilities and share best practices to elevate team performance.
β’ Provide adaptable support across additional customers or categories as business needs evolve.
β’ BA/BS degree is required.
β’ 5-10 years of relevant business experience in the CPG industry with a supplier, retailer, or distributor.
β’ Experience in the beverage alcohol sector is preferred.
β’ Advanced proficiency in Retailer POS, Syndicated and Panel data, Retail Link, Microsoft Excel, Nielsen, and/or Circana.
β’ Proficient in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications.
β’ Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving abilities.
β’ Excellent data visualization and storytelling skills.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities.
β’ Strong interpersonal skills.
β’ Team-oriented mindset.
β’ Creative thinking with the ability to communicate and present ideas and solutions effectively.
