This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take full responsibility for providing comprehensive category insights support for key Strategic Account chains.
• Create and implement insight-driven strategies across the portfolio to achieve sales volume and profit targets.
• Lead analytical and strategic discussions with senior sales executives, sales leads, distributor partners, and relevant retail buyers.
• Generate and present insights, analyses, and category assessments.
• Evaluate performance, pinpoint opportunities, and convert findings into actionable recommendations.
• Utilize syndicated, retailer loyalty, and internal data to produce shopper and business insights.
• Design, maintain, and enhance reporting and analytics processes.
• Assess and measure the impact of key initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to identify growth opportunities in innovation, assortment, shelving, pricing, and promotions.
• Assist in category reviews, new item and program meetings, business planning, and perform ad hoc analyses.
• Work alongside Sales and the Business Intelligence team, traveling as required.
• Establish consultative relationships with stakeholders to influence decision-making and implementation.
• Cooperate with Sales, BI, and Marketing on integrated, insight-driven solutions.
• Recognize risks and opportunities, convey implications and suggested actions, and prioritize high-impact tasks.
• Function as a trusted thought partner and cultivate innovative ideas to stimulate growth.
• Identify process enhancements and improve team effectiveness.
• Foster capabilities and share best practices to boost team performance.
• Offer flexible support across additional customers or categories as business demands evolve.
• A BA/BS degree is required.
• 5-10 years of relevant business experience in the CPG industry with a supplier, retailer, or distributor.
• Experience in beverage alcohol is preferred.
• Advanced computer skills in Retailer POS, Syndicated and Panel data, Retail Link, Microsoft Excel, Nielsen, and/or Circana.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent data visualization and storytelling skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent team-oriented mindset.
• Creative thinker with the capability to communicate and present ideas and solutions effectively.
• Willingness to travel as necessary to support customer engagement and business priorities.
