Analytics Manager, Strategic Accounts

📋 Description

• Take ownership of comprehensive category insights support for major Strategic Account chains.

• Formulate and implement insight-driven strategies across the portfolio to achieve sales volume and profit goals.

• Spearhead analytical and strategic collaboration with senior sales executives, sales leads, distributor partners, and relevant retail buyers.

• Create and present insights, analyses, and category assessments.

• Evaluate performance, pinpoint opportunities, and convert findings into actionable recommendations.

• Utilize syndicated, retailer loyalty, and internal data to derive shopper and business insights.

• Design, maintain, and enhance reporting and analytics frameworks.

• Assess and analyze the impact of key initiatives while refining strategies accordingly.

• Collaborate with sales leadership to capitalize on growth opportunities in innovation, assortment, shelving, pricing, and promotions.

• Assist in category reviews, new item and program meetings, business planning, and ad hoc analyses.

• Work alongside Sales and the Business Intelligence team, traveling as necessary to engage with customers and address business priorities.

• Establish consultative relationships with key stakeholders to influence decisions and execution.

• Partner with Sales, BI, and Marketing to create integrated, insight-driven solutions.

• Identify risks and opportunities, communicate implications and recommended actions, and prioritize high-impact initiatives.

• Act as a thought partner and generate innovative ideas to drive business growth.

• Enhance processes, methods of working, and overall team effectiveness.

• Develop capabilities and share best practices to elevate team performance.

• Provide adaptable support across additional customers or categories as business requirements evolve.


⛳️ Requirements

• A BA/BS degree is required.

• 5–10 years of relevant business experience in the CPG industry with a supplier, retailer, or distributor.

• Experience in beverage alcohol is preferred.

• Advanced proficiency in Retailer POS, syndicated and panel data, Retail Link, Microsoft Excel, Nielsen and/or Circana.

• Proficient in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent data visualization and storytelling skills.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication capabilities.

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• A collaborative team orientation.

• Creative thinking with the ability to effectively communicate and present ideas and solutions.
